Well no real news yet. We are just waiting for our letter of invitation and our travel dates to arrive. I did send off our passports last week to a courier to bring them to the Chinese Consulate for our Visas; we will get those back this week sometime.
We did find out some information, but are getting conflicting reports about it. Our social worker sent us an email that ISS, the people they work with in Hong Kong, said that Ava's orphanage was shut down and all the children were moved to the Fuling orphanage about 1 1/2 hours from Chongqing, the ctiy we will stay in. There are others that have sources that say the girls have not been moved. We are hoping to hear something tomorrow.
If the girls are there, one of the girls from the yahoo group I belong to knows someone going on a mission trip to China and to the orphanage that the girls were possibly moved to. She wanted the Chinese names and birth dates of the four girls in our group and when she goes to Fuling she is going to try to see them, hold them and take pictures for us!! That would be fantastic!!
