Ava on re-adoption day. Here she is with her Bitty Baby...Mei Mei(little sister in Chinese). It is so hard to believe that she is 3 1/2 already.
Here are the four kids as we wait to go into court. They love their baby sister so much and are so glad that she is a part of our family. That is evident by the smiles on their faces!! Ava was meant to be a Rademacher!!
On Friday, September 26th, Eric and I re-adopted Ava in the state of Illinois. She will now have a birth certificate. It was an amazing experience and we are so glad that we chose to do it. Here we are with our Lawyer, and friend, Brian and the judge.
The whole family came to witness the event. We took the kids out of school early and Nonny and Poppy and Grandma and Grandpa came too.
Here is Ava with her Guardian Ad Litem (her lawyer). Ava was GREAT in court. She sat with her lawyer at her own table for the entire 30 minutes of the adoption proceeding.

It was so good to see you a couple weeks ago! I had some free time and decided to check out your blog since it's been a very long time since I've done that. It sounds/looks like you are all doing well. :) Not only can I not believe how old Ava is, I can't believe how old Frank, Nicholas, and Maria are! Please tell them that I said "hi".
