Pu Min Ling...BORN August 13, 2010
October 2010...began to think that we should consider adoption again. Also the same month Pu Min Ling (Sara) was abandoned(October 13th, 2010) at a police kiosk in Puyang, China.
March 22, 2011...Approached Eric about considering adoption...He was very open to the idea.
March-July 2011...Prayerfully considered what God's will was for our family...was the adoption of another child a part of His plan for our family.
April 2011-June 2011...began looking into special needs adoptions, met with social workers, other adoptive families and contacted CCAI (Chinese Children Adoption International).
June 5th, 2011....Decided to adopt through the Waiting Child Program with CCAI.
June 7th, 2011...Filled out MCC (Medical COndition Checklist) with special needs conditions we would consider....Told by CCAI it would be 12-18 months for a referral for a daughter.
June 30, 2011....CCAI application approved for a China adoption.
August 4th, 2011 (5 years from the date of arriving home with Ava from China) RECIEVED call from CCAI to call them...did not get message until late the next night. Could not return call until Monday the 8th.
Monday, August 8th, 2011... Called CCAI first thing and received referral of a baby girl...Pu Min Ling.
Also 1st meeting later taht day with Diane our social worker to begin homestudy.
8/9/11...Accepted referral!!!
8/12/11...Sent LOI ..Letter of Intent to China to adopt Pu Min Ling.
8/18/11...Recevied Pre-Approval from China for adoption.
9/28/11...Home study complete.
10/11/11...Homestudy approved by CCAI.
10/17/11...Sent I-800A to USCIS for approval.
11/29/11...FBI fingerprints in Indy.
12/21/11...I-797 apporoval!!
1/5/12...sent Dossier to CCAI.
1/17/12...LID (Log in Date) of dossier in China.
2/21/12..LOA...received Letter of Acceptance.
3/7/12...I-800 Approval from USCIS.
3/16/12.....NVC cabled to Guangzhou
?????.....Article 5 pick-up
?????.....TA (Travel Approval)
????....CHINA TO GET SARA!!!!
