Our special friends, The Tannebergers who we went to China with, came for a 2 day visit the end of March. We had such a great time with them and our families get along so well. Here are Ava, Maria and Mara...Ava's Chongqing sister".
Eric just swears that the girls remember eachother from China. We have been together several times with them since returning, but they just seem to have a bond that is unexplainable. Ava just lit up when she saw Mara and the played so well together. She talked about her friend Mara for several weeks after the visit!! It is such a joy to see the girls together.
The girls had some fun with stickers and Wendy let them put stickers all over her face!! We can't wait for the next time we are together. Our China group reunion is planned for the 3rd weekend in July and we will host it at our house!!
Wendy has 2 boys and her oldest, Josh is the same age as Nicholas and they have a lot of the same interests. Ben is a little younger, but the 3 boys played together great!! They had fun at the creek, but the most fun was finding the wild onions. We now have onions growing in pot and so do the Tannebergers...they brought thiers all the way back home!!
Eric and I learned SOOOOO much from Wendy about horses while she was visiting. She was also so kind to let us borrow some of her horse tack...including a saddle!! Everyone got a ride on Skipper that day. Here are Wendy and Josh getting ready for a walk.
