We were blessed with our 4th Child...Ava. What an amazing gift she has been to our family. It is so hard to believe that it has been one year since she was placed in our arms at the Fuling Social Welfare Institute. She was a scared 15 month old with a crew cut, pale skin and undernourished. She did not smile for several days and her eyes were always glazed over.Ava has come so far this year. She is now a 25 lb and 27 month toddler. She loves her family so much and we love her. She can count to 20, sing her ABC's, sing Jesus Loves Me and many other songs. She loves to be outside, swing on her swing, play in her sand box, go to the park, and LOVES to go to the pool. She is such a happy soul. My mom said to me that she is not my biological child, but she is the most like me. It was truly part of God's plan that she was to be a part of our family. Here are some pictures....one from the airport at O'Hare when we arrived home, one from the White Swan Hotel in China of the 3 of us, and the other 3 from this past weekend. We had our 1 year reunion at a campground....one picture of Ava and her daddy, one with Frank in the pool, and the other with her Chinese sisters(Ava, Nikayla, Mara & Lucy).
