Here are some more pictures of all the kids. Once again, I do not know in which order they come out, so here goes! There is one of Nicholas and Maria with our dog Bella, one of the four kids from Christmas eve, One of Ava with here cheesy grin at Nicholas' class Christmas party, one of our family from New Years Day, and one of Ava feeding her new baby doll from Alan and Gina.
5 months ago today, we arrived home from China tired and sick with a scared, sick and undernourished toddler. Well, we are still tired (Ha Ha) but our lives, and Ava's, have changed greatly. She is now a healthy, happy and thriving 21 month old. Her skin is so soft now, here hair is no longer brittle and she has a mouth full of teeth. She runs EVERYWHERE she goes, winks at her daddy, loves to wave at everyone she sees, as well as say hello. Her speech is still slow, but she is adding new words and continues to use sign language quite a bit.
She still is a good sleeper and loves to eat. She likes to hold the hymnal in church and "sing" along with us. Ava LOVES to be outdoors. She started to say her version of "Maria" and "Grandma and Grandpa". She continues to call Frank "Bah", can call my mom and dad, Na Na and Ba Ba, can say eat, ouch, and wow and a few other things.
She is a busy little girl that keeps us all on our toes, and she is smart!! So smart it scares us sometimes! I think that she will have a future in electronics since her favorite things are the phone, remote of any kind, the computer, the TV, and light switches.
That is it for now. I may have to get some help from my friend/travel mate Wendy to help with all the cool things that she has on her blog.
